Are the candlesticks chart the same across all binary options platforms?

Yes, as in whole (For example, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1-day candlesticks)  but individual candlesticks on a smaller time frame such as 1 minute, 5 minutes will differ frequently. This is because of the reason some platforms consider 6 digits after the decimal point of the forex chart and some consider only 5 digits and some even consider 4 digits.

Also, independent platforms such as IQ Option, MT4, MT5, Olymp Trade, Binomo, Pocket option, etc... who run the chart on their charts and copy from actual servers sometimes get a network connectivity delay/lag in receiving data from the main forex servers.

That's why you may find a bullish candlestick on one platform and a weak bearish candlestick on another platform same time.

You can overcome this lag,

  • By connecting to a server whose delay time is minimal.
  • By monitoring different platform charts at the same time to find out if there is a delay.

You can see a frequent difference in candlesticks of MT4 & MT5 charts when compared with the IQ Option chart.
